Fuerte Apache

This project aims to analyze humanity's relationship to our physical surroundings as I focus on the government housing complexes that my grandparents constructed in Buenos Aires in the 1970's, "Fuerte Apache", and transpose my digital models that depict abstracted translations of Miami's flora and fauna. This way, I am exploring physical environments and magnifying them into an appreciation for the subtleties of life. The architectural forms found in Fuerte Apache serve as a moment of awe for my observations of my distinct environments and their significant influence in my life. A deeper look into the work reveals modular embodiments of plan sketches, blueprints, and final outcomes all symbiotically intertwined within the storytelling of my digital models. The horizontal nature of the piece also allows it to be read from left to right where the viewer can immerse themself in this alterior worldly exploration only to find out that its content is not chronological.
