Zoe Goldemberg
This piece mainly takes inspiration from the motion and feeling of a jellyfish, with a focus on the gracefulness of their tentacles. Using mixed media, I captured this feeling by projecting the embodiment of a fashion garment on a woman, using avant-garde design elements to reimagine fashion as the architecture of the body rather than clothing on a figure. Acrylic, ink, colored pencil, collage on 4’x2’ plywood. 2020
